The Indianapolis Colts are seeking an experienced Social Media Operations Manager with a passion for social media and isn't afraid to take risks. When something is going viral we want your first thought to be "how can I do something even better?" and not "I want to do that too." Our social team, when fully staffed, consists of a Director who leads strategy, an Intern who focuses on vertical video content and a Manager (THIS COULD BE YOU!) that provides the day-to-day life support of our platforms. As the voice of our social brand you're expected to understand the game, our Colts history and the NFL calendar.

MANAGER Social Media Strategy Director

RESPONSIBILITIES When you get the keys you're in control. So let's get to the specifics:
  • Play a major role in the organization and delivery of all social media content for the Indianapolis Colts official channels
  • Track progress of all social projects and maintain consistency in creative requests across vertices to ensure an efficient workflow from ideation to execution with our project management system
  • Be the internal expert on the intricacies and best business practices of social media
  • Create weekly and monthly analytics reports detailing performance, executive summaries, and proposed action items
  • Work closely with the Social Media Strategy Director to build and maintain the social content calendar
  • Capture and edit content throughout gamedays, practice and tentpole events when necessary
  • Regularly monitor and engage in conversation with fans across all social platforms


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media, Public Relations, Communications, or relevant field and/or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of social media experience required; sports experience and football knowledge is highly preferred
  • Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite with graphic design and video editing experience preferred
  • Commitment to teamwork, as well as ownership of individual responsibility
  • Available to work nontraditional hours including nights, weekends and gamedays
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to drive a company vehicle
