GREAT opportunity to grow with rapidly growing company, Kaseya. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) Manager to join our PMO & Operations team. As a SAM Manager at Kaseya, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our software assets are managed flawlessly and in compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with IT, Indirect Procurement, Finance, Legal, other BU's and partners to help maintain the day-to-day information pertaining to the organization's software assets. You will be responsible for evaluating and handling multiple license types and software licensing apps, generating reports, supporting software compliance audits and working with teams to maintain an effective software asset management program.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement software asset management (SAM) policies, processes, and best practices across the organization, including creating Entitlement Baseline and Effective License Positions
  • Manage the software license inventory, compliance, and optimization for all software products and
  • Establish and meet yearly Software Operating expense reduction through contract negotiations, reduction in licenses, and consolidation of software or contracts
  • Coordinate with IT, procurement, finance, legal, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of SAM objectives and
  • Establish and monitor SAM metrics and KPIs, and report on the status and value of SAM
  • Identify and mitigate SAM risks, issues, and opportunities, and implement continuous improvement
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiations, and ensure compliance with contractual terms and
  • Stay updated on the latest SAM trends, technologies, and best practices, and provide recommendations for
  • Monitoring and identifying compliance risks of software
  • Coordinating software and license reclamation and audit activities.
  • Optimize software assets through rationalization and consumption
  • Answers software license related questions pertaining to purchases, number of installs, usage and provide licensing recommendations to stakeholders to maximize the value of Software Asset Management
  • Collaborate with teams across all regions (ASIA, EMEA, America)
  • Manage cross functional relationships to ensure delivery on all priorities and objectives
  • Work with our institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with the internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and
  • Manage Software spend and licensing across the global enterprise driving expense costs down YoY
Our desired candidate will have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software asset management domain.
• Strong knowledge of SAM tools, methodologies, frameworks, and standards, such as ISO 19770, ITIL, and SAM Charter.
• Proven track record of managing complex SAM projects and programs, and delivering tangible business outcomes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity.
  • Highly customer-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural
  • Hands-on work experience configuring the software licenses, use-right rules, contracts, purchases to produce effective license positions and build reports in the SAM
  • Ability to multitask, attention to details, prioritize effectively in a fast-paced
  • Focus on business needs and ability to collaborate with team
  • Strong problem-solving with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Self-motivated, tenacious with ability to work
  • Work experience with Software Asset Management tools such as: Flexera, Service Now, Productiv, is
  • Certification in SAM, ITAM, ITSM, or related fields is
  • Strong data management, financials, and presentation abilities is preferred
