Join our Interface Integration team to play a vital role in facilitating data exchange between AXS and external systems. Utilizing Spring Boot and Java 17, you'll develop microservices to manage communication and data translation. Your focus will extend to supporting tactical messaging standards like VMF and USMTF, leveraging C2IUL as the core service.

Required Skills & Experience

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop Java-based microservices to ingest diverse data formats from external sources.
- Ensure seamless interoperability with external systems using approved message formats.
- Support military tactical message formats within AXS.

**What You Will Be Doing:**
- Developing software with the Spring Java Framework.
- Collaborating within a core team to extend and integrate capabilities.
- Integrating applications and components with COTS messaging solutions like RabbitMQ.
- Implementing REST, SOAP, or JAVA endpoints in the Data Service layer.
- Utilizing Git in collaborative production environments.
- Contributing to published software projects or existing open-source projects.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Working within a software development team.
- Experience with Atlassian products such as Jira, Bitbucket/Stash, and Nexus.
- Exposure to continuous integration or build automation tools like Jenkins, Bamboo.
- Proficiency in modern software build tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.

**Must-Haves:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Demonstrated experience in building microservices using Spring Boot.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP messaging.
- Proficient in using Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
- Comfortable working on Linux or Mac OS X platforms.
