We're on the lookout for a talented Software Developer ready to dive into full-stack development within a military tactical setting. As a member of our Web Development team, you'll harness core services provided by our thick client API team to elevate a web application. Your focus will include crafting middleware to seamlessly connect RabbitMQ AMPQ messages and WebSockets, implementing Redux for state management, and employing ReactJS for front-end enhancement. Collaboration with our team will see you containerizing server-core services for optimal performance in web environments, all within a Rocky Linux dev environment.

Day to Day:

* Collaborating closely with teammates to troubleshoot issues and deliver top-tier software solutions.

* Continuously honing your skills to push the boundaries of software development excellence.

* Designing and executing microservice and web-based software applications.

* Developing core infrastructure services and applications, serving as a foundation for other developers' user-facing initiatives.

* Contributing to application and system testing and integration efforts prior to deployment.

* Assisting in fortifying software against cyber threats to meet rigorous security standards.

* Crafting, refining, and maintaining internal tooling essential for software product creation.

Must Haves:

* 4+ YOE developing software using the Spring Java Framework.

* Proficiently wielded modern software build tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Gradle.

* Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS or Angular.

* Comfortably operated on non-Windows platforms (Linux, Mac OS X) for software development.

* Acquired a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess equivalent hands-on experience demonstrating proficiency.

Pluses:

* Previous engagement as part of a software development team.

* Hands-on experience with Git (or Git-based implementations) within collaborative production environments, especially on large-scale projects.

* Familiarity with Jenkins, Gradle, and Maven.

* Exposure to continuous integration or build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bamboo).

* Familiarity with Atlassian products like Jira, Bitbucket/Stash, and Nexus.

* Contributed to published software projects for external use or significantly enhanced existing open-source projects.

* Understanding of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
