Major Duties and Responsibilities:

In today's data-driven world, Informatica Developers play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and accessibility of data assets, which are foundational for business decision-making and strategic planning. Informatica Developers implement robust data governance practices, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, and PII and FTI. As one of the leading state agencies, DCY has lot of ETL jobs that supports the BI reports and wide range of data sharing requests from multiple agencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Demonstrated proficiency in data warehouse concepts with substantial experience in constructing Facts and Dimensions, including handling Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD1, SCD2, etc.).

2. A minimum of three years' expertise in crafting and managing intricate SQL queries.

3. Minimum of three years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Alteryx Designer, or similar tools, specializing in the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and data accuracy and integrity.

4. Extensive experience in optimizing and fine-tuning existing ETL processes to enhance efficiency and performance.

5. Good experience in production support.

6. Good experience in handling large volumes of data and building data marts using Informatica and experience with IDQ.

7. Proficient in utilizing data visualization tools such as Cognos, Power BI and Tableau to enhance analytical experiences.

8. Skilled at quickly adapting and providing efficient solutions to data warehouse requirements.

9. Adhere to best practices to identify and implement optimal solutions for any given problem.

Hybrid Work Details

Subject to DCYs teleworking policy and an approved teleworking agreement, this position is eligible to work from a remote location on a hybrid basis. The selected applicant may be required to complete initial trainings prior to being eligible to telework. All requests to telework are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by DCY's Deputy Director of Human Resources and management, subject to the conditions outlined in the agency policy and teleworking agreement.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems; 36 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: assuring requirements are defined and approved, performing code reviews and ensuring application development standards are met including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.

-Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.
