Experis/ManpowerGroup has partnered with a leading financial organization in Charlotte, NC for a contract Software Engineer to assist their team. It will be a Hybrid role (3 days Onsite).
Title: Software Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Need Local)
Duration: 12-18+ months
Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver software solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams and business partners in an Agile environment.
• Ensure successful implementation of application solutions.
• Rapidly achieve subject matter expertise on new applications.
• Design, build, test, and document software efficiently.
• Handle multiple tasks and lead the team through delivery.
• Adapt to a constantly changing environment.

Tasks:

• Code development in Java, Spring 5, Angular 5, React.
• Technical design documentation, solution architecture.
• Code review leadership, mentorship.
• Unit integration testing.
• Performance optimization.
• SQL query optimization.
• ETL process design and implementation.
• Big data management (Hadoop, Exadata).
• Reporting, dashboard creation (Microstrategy, Tableau).
• Agile participation: stand-ups, planning, retrospectives.
• Documentation maintenance.
• Collaboration with product owners, QA.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java, Spring 5, Angular 5, React.
• Strong technical design, leadership, and mentorship.
• Experience in testing, performance optimization, SQL.
• Knowledge of ETL, big data, reporting tools.
• Agile methodology expertise, documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years in Java programming, 3+ years in architecture.
• Proven track record in software development and Agile.
• Strong organizational, collaboration skills.
• Experience with database platforms, Windows/Linux.
• Desired: Microstrategy/Tableau, Hadoop/Exadata familiarity.
