Salary Information:

• Full Salary Range: $33,097.00 - $54,314.00 Annually
• Hiring Range: $41,781 - $45,190 Annually, based on qualifications

Work Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• The schedule may vary during holiday weeks or emergencies, with potential early morning, weekend, or holiday shifts.

About the Role:

As a Commercial Solid Waste Operator, you will be responsible for the heavy manual collection of bulk and uncontained items. This role involves operating and driving a rear-loading solid waste collection truck, servicing refuse, recycling, and bulk waste customers efficiently and safely. You will be working outdoors in all weather conditions and will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our community. The position requires frequent walking, bending, lifting, and carrying, with heavy lifting up to 50 pounds. You will also be responsible for following written and heuristic routes, communicating via two-way radios, and completing daily survey and vehicle inspection forms. The selected applicants must have the willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License within 180 days of employment, The ability to work in all weather conditions, with a flexible schedule during emergencies or holiday weeks, Strong teamwork skills, and a positive attitude and reliable means of contact (home or cellular telephone).

What You Bring:

• Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma/GED with 1+ years' experience operating vehicles that require a commercial driver's license. or No high school diploma/GED with 5-7 years experience operating vehicles that require a commercial driver's license
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Solid waste collection experience (refuse, recycling, etc.).
• Valid Class A or B CDL.
