Job Description

SCOPE OF POSITION
The Sourcing Specialist will work independently in a proactive, high-volume work environment while supporting recruitment efforts for sourcing leadership, clinical, and non-clinical positions for Ballad Health. The Sourcing Specialist will effectively use the electronic applicant tracking system to support the recruiters and hiring managers by helping to insure there is an available pool of skilled applicants to fill vacancies. This person will actively seek qualified candidates who possess the appropriate job qualifications and can demonstrate success under the Ballad Health mission of honoring those we serve by delivering the best possible care. The Sourcing Specialist will be proficient in sourcing, identifying and engaging candidates through a variety of methods including but not limited to, the electronic applicant tracking system, external job boards, internal reports, and other sources of information identifying potential candidates to fill open positions.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage in resume mining from a variety of sources to identify and engage passive candidates to alert them to job opportunities.
  • Engage in email campaigns to candidates to promote job opportunities with Ballad Health.
  • Work with hiring managers to determine hiring needs and ensure that cost effective recruitment strategies are implemented to meet hiring requirements.
  • Develop sourcing strategies and networks using various methods such as the team member referral programs, internet resources, advertising resources, professional associations, schools, alumni programs, networking, external referrals, diversity resources, etc.
  • Prepare sourcing and recruiting reports as requested.
  • Assist as needed with company sponsored hiring events.
  • Monitor open requisitions for applicant activity and begin sourcing for candidates.
  • Be knowledgeable regarding recruiting policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with individuals of all levels.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or other business related field required or five years Human Resources experience required with previous Employment Management experience preferred.
