Key Responsibilities:

The Specialist - Sales Support handles Sales pre-travel service issues and provides policy driven guidance and creative solutions when warranted. Summarize post travel issues and work with colleagues to raise those issues for handling and resolution. These individuals use responsiveness, specific technical and system knowledge, and networking prowess with internal support departments to find resolutions and support to solve issues. Must be able to balance multiple cases and email boxes simultaneously. Strong communication (verbal and written) is needed as communication is with both internal partners and external customers.

  • Build strong Sales relationships in solving complicated travel escalation issues and inquiries.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners; Sales leaders, Sales Effectiveness team, Revenue Management, Airports, Refunds, Accounting, Baggage and Rate Desk to assist in resolving issues.
  • Investigate customer ticketing issues, special travel needs and disruption, and provide timely and appropriate guidance and assistance.
  • Manage both personal email box and potential multiple vanity email boxes.
  • Stay up to date on policy changes.


This position provides a remote work arrangement located in the United States. This position has the potential to travel up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of customer support knowledge
  • Work independently in a potential virtual office while handling large volume of emails
  • Strong consultant and problem solver
  • Strong working together skills with a small, dedicated team
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Sales Systems knowledge (Shares and Microsoft Outlook)
  • Knowledge in using internal research systems like Wingtips, Seismic, Kana, Rascal, Trip Narrative
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position


What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Sales systems knowledge: Salesforce/Business Insight, Jetstream, Seismic
  • Shares, EZR/Navigator proficiency
  • Knowledge of internal systems (Rascal, Trip Narrative, Customer 360)


The salary for this position is $59,700 to $87,560, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Bonus eligible: yes.
