Summary

Provides technical support to the Biomedical Engineering Department on the preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, calibration, and safety testing of specialized medical equipment under the Medical Equipment Management Program for all locations within LMHS. Has specific technical training and is able to work independently on specialized equipment related to patient care. This type of equipment includes but is not limited to Steam Sterilizers, Washer Sterilizers, Patient Exercise Equipment, Surgical Lights, Surgical Tables, Warming Cabinets, Disinfectant Systems, and other related equipment.
