Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to join a federal program in Quantico, VA. The SQL DBA will lead and support the engineering and management of network systems, ensuring secure and efficient operation and troubleshooting.

*This role requires an Active Secret Clearance*

Responsibilities of SQL DBA the include:
• Provide SQL database administration and Windows server maintenance within an enterprise environment.
• Evaluate and troubleshoot network issues across LAN/BAN/WAN and support comprehensive IT situational awareness.
• Lead technical integration and testing of complex computer networks, and manage system integration, server installations, and directory service schema extensions.
• Implement network security measures, including PKI and two-factor authentication, and develop tools for network analysis and system status monitoring.
• Design and operate central management systems and platforms, ensuring network performance and compliance with relevant standards and protocols.

Qualifications for SQL DBA include:
• Minimum of 10 years in IT, with flexibility on what constitutes experience (educational, military, or side projects included).
• Practical experience with Microsoft SQL Databases and SQL Server; backend knowledge of Windows Servers is highly valued.
• Possession of IAT Level III Certification, with IAM Level II and III also acceptable.
• Bachelor's degree is standard, though it may be substituted with additional relevant experience.
• Nice to have, but not required: Marine Corps or military experience.

Compensation for the SQL DBA include:
• Salary Range: $115,000-$140,000 Depending on Experience
