The Sr. Analyst, Transportation develops, maintains, and optimizes key reporting tools enabling visibility into strategic KPI’s, key business insights, proactive exception management, risk mitigation, and financial performance. In addition, the Sr. Analyst, Transportation will aid in scoping analyses, implementation, and performance monitoring for Transportation Productivity Initiatives.

Partnering with internal and external stakeholders, the Sr. Analyst, Transportation will support best in class On Time Performance for Stock Transfer and Customer orders balancing cost & service, optimizing the information flow & structural processes between Sales, Distribution Facilities, Customer Service teams, our 3PL’s, and our Customer’s.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Develop reporting tools (workbooks, dashboards, etc.) summarizing KPI’s and key insights into logistics and transportation performance.
  • Support and perform analysis and scoping projects for the Productivity Agenda.
  • Own Month End estimates, SLT updates, and post-mortem review process.
  • Become a subject matter expert for Stock Transfer and Customer Outbound shipments.
  • Create Ad-Hoc burst reporting utilizing our 3PL’s software and data.
  • Collaborate with 3PL, customers, & carriers to investigate & root cause service failures.
  • Assist in the oversight of key customer accounts.
  • Effectively partner with all key internal/external clients to ensure all functions are performing at established levels of performance.
  • Identify improvement areas within various workstreams with external/internal stakeholders, form a solution strategy, presenting findings, and rollout action plans.
  • Ensure a modern supply chain strategy is developed that supports the company's overall strategic business plan and performance objectives, as well as customer expectations.
  • Understand and oversee the execution of best-in-class logistics/transportation services.
  • Perform special projects and ad hoc requests as required.

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, STEM, or combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ of experience in key supply chain areas such as, but not limited to, inventory control, transportation, warehousing, and order management.
  • Transportation or 3PL experience.
  • Proven problem solving and conflict resolution ability.
  • Proficiency and comfort with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven Experience with ERP systems -SAP preferred
  • Familiarity or interest with RPA (Robotic Process Automation)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (SAP BOBJ, etc.)
