Insight Global's client in Aerospace is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team! The candidate will be joining the Research/Development team under the Hardware Engineering Manager, and also under the VP of engineering. This is a more senior level position that requires a high level of attention to detail. They will mainly be responsible for schematic capture, schematic layouts (PCB layout), and FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array)

The breakdown of responsibilities are as follows:
20% Sustaining engineering and supporting the production department along manufacturing
30%-40% Writing requirements and Designing to those requirements
30%-40% Board bring up - verifying is the designs work!

Required Skills & Experience
• Around 10 years of experience working in aerospace
• Experience writing requirements and designing to those requirements
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and FPGA work
• This person MUST have a comprehensive understanding of the FAA Process, specifically to below:
Knowledge on the DO-254 Aviation hardware design rules
§ They will be asked situational questions based on it during their interview
§ Must be able to give specifics
Knowledge on the DO-160 Environmental/Electrical Characteristics
Experience with Board Bring-up

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelors
Experience in smaller aerospace companies, they want someone that will have strong general knowledge and be able to wear many hats
