Position Details: Sr. Electrical Engineer
• Location: Mankato MN, must live in MN
• Shift: Monday-Friday
• Travel: 70%
• Training: There will be approximately a year (fast track) of classroom and field training. Most training is in the USA but there is some in Germany.
• Compensation: $80-110k

• Vaccine Requirement: None but to enter to some customer sites it will be required
Position Description: As a Sr. Electrical Engineer this position is responsible for performing engineering work related to researching, designing, and developing products, parts, components, or portions of major products.
• Be the electrical architect for design and development for new or existing products
• Design and development of Generator set control systems, wiring harnesses, electrical diagrams, electronic engine systems, automatic voltage regulators, transformers, heaters, motor controls, and protective devices, paralleling switchgear, low and medium voltage switchgear, and any other electrical aspects of products.
• Analyzes production methods to ensure time and cost objectives are met.
• Co-ordinate with production team for during assembly of Electrical Schematics and wiring harness.
• Selects correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement of existing products
• Reviews and analyzes vendor or customer proposals submitted to determine if benefits derived and possible applications justify expenditures
• Complete work according to standard engineering principles and practices
• Responsible for following the ERP procedures per the company's quality system
• Safety and environmental procedures and work instructions can be referenced in the Matrix
• Promotes a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the company Code of Conduct
• Performs special projects as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of electrical engineering experience or 9 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Excellent knowledge about Diesel and Gas engines
• Excellent ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent ability to read and interpret general procedures
• Excellent ability to read and interpret line diagrams, ladder diagrams, and point to point diagrams
• Excellent problem analysis and resolution at both a strategic and functional level
• Excellent ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Excellent computer Skills: AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD electrical, Programming, MS Office (Programmable Logic Devices)
• Service/or Test experience
• Computer skills: SAP
• Experience in electrical design of battery and fuel cell containers
