Sr. Full-Stack Engineer

A client in the financial/mortgage services industry is looking for Sr. Full-stack Engineers to join their new technology division. This is an entirely new project currently in the planning phase. You will be setting standards and creating a new codebase from scratch with other full-stack engineers, focusing on creating a new pricing application for the company. The codebase will be written in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and use serverless AWS functions. This is an onsite position, the priority location is Cary, NC but they are also open to Agoura Hills, CA if needed!

Required Skills & Experience
- 6-7+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer (backend leaning preferred)
- Strong background with JavaScript + TypeScript for frontend
- Thorough understanding of Node.js for backend
- Background in a microservice oriented environment
- Serverless technology architecture, development, and delivery experience (preferably using AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS EventBridge)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Mentorship experience
- Experience building a new codebase from scratch
