The Studios Technology Services team supports production technology workflows and media supply chain platforms alongside Studios business teams (production operations, postproduction, and marketing). We work in a team environment and interact with production personnel and studio executives at all levels.

The Senior IaC Tools Engineer is a key member on the Infrastructure Engineering team responsible for developing the tools, platforms, and methodologies that deliver performant, resilient, and efficient cloud platforms and architectures. The engineer focuses on building scalable architectures and ensures delivery of solutions and services to our customers and business partners, while continuously striving to improve mechanisms and ensure reliability.

A day in the life:
- Build out of AWS Capabilities use by and for the film productions at Amazon Studios

Specifically:
- responsible for building out the API gateways via Python
- responsible for automating infrastructure creation and automated deployments(CDK/CloudFormation/LAMBDAS/Step Functions)

Required Skills & Experience
- 7 plus years of relevant work experience working AWS Infrastructure in a production environment
- 5 plus years expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code automation(IaC) of AWS with CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform or other tools
- Advanced/Expert coding experience with: Python
- Direct experience serving as a Tooling Software engineer embedded within an SRE/DevOps team -- IaC
- Direct experience/expertise in building out API gateways to automate deployments in AWS(CloudFormation, CDK, LAMBDAs, Step Functions)
- On-call pager duty: team is comprised of 11 engineers that rotate weekly
- Remote; must work PST hours

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect professional and/or AWS Certified Developer Associate, or relevant years of experience
