We are looking for a experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our Pharmacy Automation portfolio team in Durham, NC. In this role, you will work as part of an international team. You will collaborate closely with our software development teams in the pharmacy automation area.

Main responsibilities
Create and maintain OS images for deployment of products to customer sites.
Research and recommend hardware to meet product requirements and customer needs.
Formally control and release hardware in corporate mfg inventory management
Manage the license purchasing and activation processes in cooperation with manufacturing, procurement and R&D.
Design and implement deployment infrastructure with manufacturing, R&D and customer support
Create, test and deploy regular updates to address security hotfixes, driver updates and relevant new OS features.
Design, develop and maintain scripts and tooling to automatically configure security on top of base OS.
Work closely with product owners to design, develop and maintain BD product deployment scripts, packages, etc.
Work closely with IT infrastructure to remotely monitor and maintain deployed environments in the field.
Document processes and procedures to ensure repeatability.

Required Skills & Experience

*MUST BE LOCAL TO RALEIGH/DURHAM, NC*
Current experience with OS/App security best-practices and standards.
PC workstation and server hardware build/configure/upgrade.
Windows automated deployment and administration tools. e.g. Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
Experience with PC disk imaging. Acronis, Macrium, etc.
Deployment using PXE boot and WinPE
Scripting/automation with PowerShell and CMD batch.
General Windows system administration. Group Policy, Registry, UAC, NTFS permissions, network & firewall configuration, user management, file shares, hardware drivers.
Windows centralized administration. Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MEMC/SCCM), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Active Directory
Familiarity with OS virtualization. e.g. VMware, HyperV.
Familiarity with app virtualization - Docker
Linux familiarity a plus. Bash script, init.d, etc.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in automating windows image creation.
