Job Description:

Will primarily focus on backend Java/Scala development to support initiatives within the Entitlements team. As part of the company's core national services, the Entitlements team develops, enhances and maintains applications which verify and authorize customer profiles/subscriptions on various platforms and devices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 4 to 5 years experiences with core Java, Spring and Maven
• Experience defining RESTful APIs and developing RESTful Web Services
• Understanding on how to scale applications depending on load
• Excellent troubleshooting skill for network, performance, and application issues
• Practical experience with NoSQL database technologies such as Mongo, Cassandra, Redis
• Practical experience with relational database technologies such as Oracle
• Experience with AWS, Kafka and MicroServices
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or other containerization frameworks
• Knowledge using Splunk
• Exposure to Scala

Required Skills : Java OR Scala developer with experience building backend services and APIs (ideally Rest) and AWS experience
