A client in the Aurora, Colorado area is looking for a TS/SCI Java Developer to join their team. At a high level, this team will be supporting space domain awareness. It stems from the existence of another program the client has had for a year. Both the legacy program and new program support the tracking of space debris and satellites. The client is a sub on a 3-year contract that kicked off in August 2023, with a 3-year option. You will be supporting everything from building algorithms, systems engineering, developing the software, and testing. Right now, the client is building the team. They have a number of staff transitioning from their legacy program which is great because it brings quality experience and historical knowledge that's mutually beneficial to the program itself and newer staff onboarding. This will be a full-time position sitting in Aurora, CO 5 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages specifically Java

Experience in working with microservices and containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift

Experience with integration and development tools, including AWS, Docker, Bitbucket, and Jenkins

Experience with supporting systems engineering efforts in system design, solution engineering, and software development

Experience with Agile development, including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban

TS/SCI clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Open Systems Architecture design principles

Experience with automated testing and DevOps technologies

Experience with CI/CD technologies, including Ansible, Jenkins, and GIT

Experience with Agile development or Scrum

Knowledge of user interface (UI) technologies, including React or AngularJS

Knowledge of Apache NiFi and Kafka

Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification
