TITLE: Sr. Maintenance Technician (HVAC)

DEPARTMENT: Stadium Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance

FLSA: Full-Time Hourly, Non-Exempt

WHAT SETS YOU APART

Orlando City SC seeks a full-time HVAC Technician to join the Facility Operations team. Are you tired of being on call, working on hot roofs all day? If yes, you need to keep reading. The selected applicant will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and other assigned tasks. This role supports all Orlando City SC facilities including INTER &Co Stadium and Orlando Health Training Grounds at Osceola Heritage Park and Sylvan Lake Park.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems
  • Work in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager to implement an effective preventative maintenance program for all HVAC systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance on all stadium HVAC systems
  • Diagnose reasons for component, systems or structure malfunctions through troubleshooting and determine corrective actions to ensure proper and timely repairs
  • Install, repair, replace, and service various ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment throughout the property when needed
  • Clean, adjust, and optimize HVAC systems to increase efficiency and comply with relevant codes, standards, and best practices
  • Maintain records, schedules, charts, etc., as required to ensure proper and timely preventative maintenance or repairs
  • Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary
  • Support projects and maintenance at the training facilities when needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Journeyman-level experience preferred.
  • Universal refrigerant certification is required.
  • Trane BAS experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A related technical college degree is not required but is preferred.
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
  • Ability to read blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills and planning.
  • Professional presentation and attitude.
  • Ability to maintain focus while working individually
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency in MS Access and SharePoint a plus
  • Forklift & Scissors lift certification preferred


  • Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
