Jacobs Technology Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Manager, Contracts to support our Cyber and Intelligence Solutions Business Unit. Seeking a motivated self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage a small group of dedicated contracts professionals located in Hanover, Maryland which will require periodic travel to both Severn, Maryland and to our Headquarters in Herndon, VA. The individual will report directly to the Director of Contracts. This position will also require the individual to access high-side communications on a regular basis, while also ensuring that all customer required training(s) are completed timely to ensure that uninterrupted high-side access is maintained. Additionally, this position will also administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts, task orders and subsequent amendments. Individual will also conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contract activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with Company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Individual will also prepare bids; advise management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data; and maintain historical information. Individual will also monitor company performance for conformance to original proposal and maintain continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the contract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations. Individual will also prepare and disseminate information throughout the organization regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination. Individual will initiate documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications. Individual will maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects. Participation in teaming agreement and strategic marketing alliance negotiations between company and outside sources is also expected. Individual should possess a strong work ethic and ability to effectively work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with limited supervision.
Work Environment:
General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company.

General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment.

- Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 10+ years of progressive relevant experience.
- TS/SCI with Poly
- Existing working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and other bodies of law affecting government contracts highly preferred.
- Excellent command of English grammar with strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software, i.e. Word and Excel.
- Possess the aptitude to adjust to competing priorities when needed.
- Possess superb organizational and interpersonal written and oral communication skills. To include but not limited to, the ability to professionally compose, edit, and proofread a variety of internal and external business correspondence, contracts, proposals, and management reports is essential.
- Must be a team player within the contracts team, as well as cross-functionally with other departments.

General Office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company.

Attendance:
- Attendance is always critical. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur.

- Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing.
- Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements.
- Must be willing to travel as needed.
- Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen
