Position Overview

As a Senior Manager, HR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the business strategy for the organizations you support. This role will support our Corporate functions including Finance, IT, Engineering and Quality. Your key responsibilities will include organization design, strategic business partnership, coaching, change management, workforce planning, employee relations and performance management. You will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement initiatives that support our business goals and enhance employee engagement and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide strategic HR guidance and solutions.

• Provide leadership coaching and development to managers and employees, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.

• Lead and support change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and successful adoption of new processes and systems.

• Help guide and partner with Center of Excellence (COE) owners in the shaping of appropriate and innovative HR solutions

• Coach managers and teams to successfully manage all cyclical performance management processes (talent management, annual reviews, merit planning).

• Ability to understand, use and identify trends in data and analytics to help drive decisions

• Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.

• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

• Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

• Identifies training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.

• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of programs and retention efforts.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or another relevant program is required

• 5+ years of demonstrated success as a Human Resource Business Partner or Human Resources Manager is required.

• Knowledge of the Life Sciences industry and proficiency in Workday are preferred.

Working Conditions

• Onsite at facility 3 days per week
