AWS is seeking an experienced Multi-Party Partner Development Specialist Manager to create the strategic vision and plan for how Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Consulting Partners (CPs), and other partner types collaborate on the AWS platform. In this pivotal role, you will be an expert in identifying customer needs, mapping complementary partner capabilities, and empowering your team to facilitate the development of innovative joint solutions that deliver greater value to our mutual customers.
As the Multi-Party Partner Development Manager, you will have deep expertise in the AWS partner ecosystem and the ability to foster productive collaborations that leverage the unique strengths of different partner types. Your mission will be to build and lead a high-performing team focused on cultivating strong relationships with industry-leading partners, understanding customer pain points, and leveraging multi-party capabilities to address those needs and drive AWS business growth.
A day in the life
- Develop and execute the strategic plan for driving impactful multi-party partnerships (ISV-CP, ISV-ISV, CP-CP, etc.), accountable for delivering against ambitious annual goals
- Engage directly with customers to deeply understand their key challenges and requirements, and translate those insights to your team
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with top partners across the ecosystem on behalf of your team
- Facilitate ideation sessions and solution design workshops, guiding your team to bring diverse partner teams together around specific customer needs
- Oversee the creation of go-to-market strategies and joint business plans for multi-party partnership offerings that address identified customer pain points
- Collaborate cross-functionally with AWS teams (product, sales, solutions architecture, etc.) and partners to ensure innovative solutions are brought to market effectively
- Prioritize AWS investments in multi-party partnerships, including leading startups, consulting firms, and established technology vendors
- Lead a team dedicated to delivering programs that will scale the multi-party partner business
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive business reviews to AWS senior leadership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 12+ years of experience working with the AWS partner ecosystem, with a strong track record of driving successful multi-party partnerships
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams focused on customer-centric partner collaboration
- Extensive experience engaging directly with customers, deeply understanding their needs, and facilitating partner solutions to address those requirements
- Excellent technical aptitude and ability to understand complex software architectures and integration requirements
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and executive-level relationship management skills
- Experience in solution selling, new business model development, and demonstrating prior solution and program successes
- Willingness to travel to partner and customer locations as needed

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
