A client is seeking a Materials and Process Engineer in Huntsville, AL. He/she will review technical data packages that support the build of a ground-based weapon system for the DoD. This person will review drawings, the TDP as a whole, and will make sure we are not at risk operationally/safety. Emphasis is on metals, paints, and chemical conversion processes for this ground-based technology. This person will be the SME M&P Engineer and will be a shared resource across a few efforts.

Required Skills & Experience
STEM degree, preferably in Materials Engineering or mechanical engineering
10+ years of professional experience
5+ years of expertise in M&P specific to metals/metallurgy, paint, and chemical conversion processes
Experience reviewing technical drawings and technical data packages (TDP)
Eligible for a Secret Clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Active secret clearance
Experience reviewing drawings and TDP from mechanical or electrical perspective
