Sr. Piping Designer

Lake Jackson, TX - onsite with travel // flexible schedule offered.

Pay depends on experience, but can pay up to $70-75/hr plus overtime rate

We are working with an organization that is growing and need to add a Sr. Piping Designer to their team. Although this organization does a variety of projects, this person will likely focuses on oil/gas and chemical projects.

Requirements:

- AutoCAD / Plant 3D

- 10+ years of piping design experience

- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of design concepts with minimal engineering input and a proficiency in utilizing

manual and computer-assisted techniques for moderately-difficult design applications.

- Extensive knowledge and expertise in equipment layout, cryogenic piping design, modularization, and layout optimization for large capital projects.

- Field experience in walking down P&IDs to identify tie points, validate information associated to the existing piping,

efficient in field sketching
