Job Description:

Responsible for leading an HDL team consisting of hourly employees to complete aircraft modification projects.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for monitoring budgets, organizing daily tasks to meet milestones, understanding IMS schedule, and driving the overall performance on aircraft modification projects. Establishing and tracking day-to-day production requirements that includes budget, safety, quality, and performance. Team will consist of between 10-20 hourly mechanics.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 Years or associate degree with 8 Years hands-on aircraft Electrical experience or 12 Years hands-on experience.
  • US citizenship required.
  • Must be experience on Gulfstream airframes, structural and electrical modification.
  • Ablity to obtain Secret Clearence.
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisorial experience with general aviation, military aircraft, or manufacturing.
  • Ability to interpret Government, FAA, and Company Aviation Safety regulations.
  • Ability to read\\interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and general aviation knowledge.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of military, commercial, or general aviation aircraft.
  • Must possess ability to perform analytical analysis and apply risk mitigation techniques.
  • Experience in conflict resolution, team building, and coaching skills.


Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • FAA Certified A&P
  • Gulfstream platform experience
  • VIP or comms upgrade experience
  • Lean or Six-Sigma Training
