In this role , you will lead a team of talented recruiters and coordinators while partnering closely with senior business leaders to support our company's growth strategy. You will be seen as the primary point of contact for identifying creative new solutions for our hiring needs across business segments. As we continue our journey toward modernizing our hiring systems, you will help drive the implementation of those projects across the organization. To ensure alignment , you wil l re gularly share with senior leaders your insights into hiring trends, progress on key performance indicators, and ideas for how we can continuously drive improvement.

This position will be based at our corporate headquarters in the historic Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle, WA. Our flexible work policy allows you to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays .

Key Focus Areas

Talent Acquisition Leadership:
  • Lead and develop a team of recruiters , recruiting coordinators and contract personnel supporting TA across the U.S. & Canada to effectively attract and hire top talent.
  • Foster and promote a systematic framework for assessing and strengthening recruiting in collaboration with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers.
  • Develop recruiting solutions and processes to ensure companywide consistency, cost optimization, and high-quality hires.
  • Ensure the recruitment team is positioned to effectively source applicants through various channels, including networking, referrals, headhunting , and online searches.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service by maintaining ongoing contact with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure ongoing professional growth and development for the recruiting team.
Strategic Planning and Execution :
  • Expand partnerships with talent building organizations focused in the wood products manufacturing and forest industry
  • Use industry knowledge, internal and external contacts, and external search firms to create a deep pipeline for emerging talent needs.
  • Design reporting metrics for talent acquisition initiatives and evaluate effectiveness through defined metrics and feedback.
  • Monitor progress on key metrics and share critical updates to business and HR leaders.
  • Lead and help grow our i nclusive recruiting strategy to continue driving efforts towards attracting diverse talent to Weyerhaeuser
Program and Vendor Management:
  • Oversee the company's enterprise onboarding system and process.
  • Oversee company relocation, immigration, and non-DOT drug-testing programs.
  • Manage a variety of vendors and suppliers providing consulting, professional, software, and promotional services.
Risk and Compliance Management :
  • A ctively participate in the development and review of recruiting-related policies, processes, services, products, and partnerships in the organization.
  • Be accountable for the execution of the staffing process and its adaptation to compliance legal and labor market requirements while maintaining alignment with internal processes.
  • Partner with HR and legal counsel to ensure a thorough understanding of the staffing policy, process, and system.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 10 + years of c orporate Talent Acquisition experience
  • Prior people leadership experience in the concentration of recruiting
  • Experience in optimizing the use of Applicant Tracking Systems and Candidate Relationship Management software.
  • Highly knowledgeable on trends, tools, and technologies used to recruit all levels of talent along with the experience to implement technologies, optimize their use, and train others.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze factors and variables, solve problems, improve processes, and identify creative solutions.
  • Previous success in building a forward-thinking, high-impact talent acquisition team
  • Ability and experience in managing multiple projects, priorities, and time sensitive deadlines.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships across all levels of an organization.
  • Expertise in brand marketing, channel management, and ensuring process compliance across various functions within a sophisticated organizational structure.
  • Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Our investment in you:

A flexible work policy that allows you to work remotely up to two days per week.

Compensation :This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience.You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 20% of base pay.Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement :Employees may enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off :We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with three weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment.In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use.We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, as well as paid paternal leave for all full-time employees.
