Reporting to the Accounting manager, you will oversee our accounting responsibilities for Red Bull New York, Red Bull Academy and Red Bull Arena. You will manage the daily accounting activities, month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, daily cash management tasks and payroll reconciliations.



RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:


  • CASH MANAGEMENT


    Maintain and send daily cash position reports.

    Review and clear any items in the Wells Fargo fraud filter.

    Post all incoming/outgoing wires and ACHs weekly.

    Reconcile and post all lockbox/ATM deposits and maintain monthly cash binder.

    Process credit card payments.

    Reconcile all Red Bull New York bank accounts.

    Keep track of incoming credit card payments under Red Bull Academy.

    Maintain proper documentation for all bank transactions.


  • MONTH-END RESPONSIBILITIES


    Create iVerify lists for review and post accruals/reclasses.

    Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation.

    Prepare intercompany reconciliation for RB New York entities.

    Run depreciation and create asset roll forward and lease liability reports for Tax team.

    Review postings that affect the regions.

    Prepare Red Bull New York entities' Cost Plus calculation and invoices.

    Prepare sales and use tax reports for all 3 RBNY entities to be reviewed and approved by the tax department.


  • PAYROLL


    Reconcile biweekly part-time and full-time payroll general ledgers.

    Research and coordinate with the Payroll team to resolve any payroll variance.

    Reconcile 401k posting against bank debits.

    Track outstanding manual payroll checks.


  • REGIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES


    Reconcile AMEX Corporate Meeting Card and Business Travel Accounts for the regions

    Review and process one regional marketing distributor billbacks weekly.

    Review and process distributor CPM billbacks to ensure accurate payment to 3rd party Distributor Partners.

    Maintain customer payments and answer questions.


  • AUDITS


    Help prepare Red Bull New York entities PBC items for interim and year-end audits.

    Help us provide requested backup for selected samples.




EXPERIENCE


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

  • 1+ years of accounting experience
  • SAP knowledge an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college or university
  • Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
  • Travel 0-10%
