ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Staff Developer Advocate, Cloud to join our Developer Advocacy team. This is a senior-level role where you will be an anchor for the team, supporting the team lead in mentoring and coaching junior advocates, defining advocacy strategies, and driving engagement with cloud technologies.

As Staff Developer Advocate, you will be the bridge between our products and the developer community, helping to shape the future of cloud development at Intuit. With a focus on Cloud, you will also have the opportunity to partner with key leaders across the industry, and broaden your impact to the cloud-native open source community at large.

The Staff Developer Advocate will play a crucial role in engaging our cloud-native community and advocating for developers' needs within Intuit. You will be using and advocating for cloud-native technologies by building authentic and compelling resources such as high-quality sample apps, open source demos, code samples, how-to guides and blog posts covering topics in Kubernetes, Argo, Istio, AWS Cloud, AI/MLOps and more.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of advocacy strategies that inspire and engage cloud developers, driving adoption of Intuit's cloud offerings within our engineering community.
  • Mentor and coach a team of junior advocates, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Create and deliver high-quality technical content in one or more modes, including blogs, tutorials, videos, webinars, and conference talks that resonate with cloud developers for internal and external audiences
  • Represent Intuit at industry events, conferences, and meetups, showcasing our commitment to the developer community.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) to provide feedback and influence the direction of our cloud products based on developer needs.
  • Build and nurture relationships with developer communities through active engagement in forums, social media, and open-source projects.
  • Drive a metrics-driven approach to developer advocacy, regularly measuring and reporting on the impact of your efforts.
  • Act as a thought leader within the developer advocacy and cloud communities, staying ahead of industry trends and best practices
  • Work closely with partners and open source communities, such as CNCF, GraphQL Foundation, to coordinate dev events, content ideas, marketing collateral and new initiatives.
