This position is located in the Veteran and Community Engagement Unit of the Veteran Services Division at the Sacramento Headquarters and is responsible for the management and supervision of the Veteran and Community Engagement branch. The incumbent oversees strategic partnerships with numerous governments, non-governmental agencies, and non-profit groups in support of outreach activities and also provides leadership to the program in making strategic decisions regarding targeted outreach for the division based on established resources in the area and veteran need.

Special Requirements
Veterans may qualify for a CalVet Veterans Hiring Preference. Military service must be included in the Employment History section of the Employment Applications (STD. 678).
