We are seeking a technical leader to support the SRE team at Mailchimp in establishing best practices and patterns for operational excellence and site reliability. The SRE team is consulted and recognized by multiple engineering teams for their ability to solve complex problems. We use data and customer insights to influence product and technical decisions. deep understanding of current technology trends, best practices. We are looking for someone to drive the work of 10 Engineers across different capabilities.

Intuit Mailchimp is a , giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta office two or more days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain Intuit Mailchimp's Infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance
  • Define technical projects, identify dependencies, develop new features, and facilitate technical and cross-functional team discussions.
  • Participate in mentoring, teaching, and creating an inclusive environment for teams.
  • Develop tools and processes to monitor and automate system operations
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement best practices for system reliability and performance
  • Participate in on - call rotations to respond to system incidents and outages
  • Continuously improve system reliability, operational excellence, and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization
