Summary:

The OB Staff Sonographer I will perform routine low and high risk diagnostic obstetrical and interventional procedures under the general supervision of the Chief OB sonographer, Generates patient reports,, maintain sonography equipment, and maintain a safe work area. The OB Staff sonographer will keep current with emerging new practices and protocols, follow departmental procedures for documentation, and ensures privacy of the patient.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent including successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic medical sonography.

Work Experience:

At least one (1) year of clinical experience in diagnostic medical ultrasound (including time spent in an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program).

Licensure/Certification:

Current and active registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) certified in obstetrics OR new graduate from an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program. New graduates must become RDMS certified in obstetrics within one year of hire date. First trimester ductus venosus, tricuspid regurgitation and specialized imaging skills according to the Fetal Medicine Foundation

Salary Range: Minimum $33.61 per hour - Maximum $55.51 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
