Position Summary:
Standardized Patients are used in medical simulations to create realistic educational encounters with medical students. Students gain valuable experience practicing communication and exam techniques.
• Presents professional demeanor around other staff and client
• Hours/Days: up to 29 hours/week, as needed
Required Qualifications:
• Must be comfortable being examined by medical students of either gender
• Be reliable and punctual
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Must have regular and reliable access to email and have a working phone number
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the field of acting or role-play
• Experience in giving feedback in basic communication skills
• An interest in medicine or medical education
• Presents professional demeanor around other staff and client
