Operations Level 1
Purpose: Be aware that this is a sales support role and indirect income generation is the underlying goal in every activity. This is achieved by pivoting or finding client needs, setting client appointments and participate in building client relationships and trust.
People: This role will mainly interact with Operations Level 2, potentially all Sales Level team members and clients as it relates to billing and appointment setting. Some, but limited interaction with SF Billing /SFPP or specific product line underwriting/service needs. Client interaction occurs as needed but must also be able prioritize clients based on amount of business and level of relationship with agency. Operations Level 1 & 2 should expect to work closely together. Sales Level 3 team member will be responsible for quarterly reviews.
Plan: Expected work hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday.
Process:
1. Responsible for client billing problems resolution: calling on past due accounts until payments current, solving client billing problems, helping clients manage their bill payments with the intent of helping them with personal budgeting success.
2. Complete all incoming tasks (BOD) and/or assign as necessary.
3. All auto and fire underwriting follow up needs - underwriting folders. Likely to begin March 31, 2025 once modernization well underway.
4. Successful office sales goal accomplishment
a. Answering phones within first 3 rings during assigned hours. Either process the request and pivot, introduce agency, find need, etc. and pass to appropriate personnel.
b. Current client calls: find ways to interrupt the current transaction inquiry or outbound call. Discover the client goals and timelines for goal implementation.
c. Fully introduce the client to the office purpose and values to establish trusting business relationship.
d. Successful day is resolving client billing problems, pivots with uncovering client needs and setting one salesperson appointment.
e. Remaining current on all tasks and cases.
Performance:
1. Traditional methods
a. Five pivots/day are minimal, optimal is 10.
b. Set one appointment per day for appropriate salesperson.
2. Innovative methods - this is not a comprehensive list; rather, starting points.
a. Are you building trust?
b. Are you participating in building client emotional bank accounts?
c. Were you impactful?
d. Did you learn something and pass it along?
e. Did you make something easier/simplified?

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees. State Farm agents' employees are not employees of State Farm.

Requirement s
- Property & Casualty license (required)
- Life & Health license (required)
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
