INVISTA's Specialty Industrial Materials Team is currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager - Airbag. This position will oversee account management of INVISTA's airbag fibers business in North America, serving the automotive sector and be responsible for researching the available markets, developing strategic account plans and negotiating price and volumes.
Our Team
The Account Manager will report to the Commercial Director and be office based in the Atlanta, Georgia area (specifically Kennesaw, GA). The role includes 20-40% travel, including overnight travel.

Our Team

What You Will Do
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their unique requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial fibers market, collaborating closely with the Regional Commercial Director, New Business Development, Technical Marketing, End-use Applications Engineering, and key Plant Personnel to ensure comprehensive understanding of target accounts
- Market Research: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify potential areas for growth and maintain a competitive edge.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent post-sales support, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience building and growing customer relationships.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams, internal and external customers
- Experience in account management, sales or customer service
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in working with automotive sector at OEM or Tier 1 levels.
- Experience in sales of technical fibers and/or technical fiber applications
