Structural Plans Processor (Regulatory & Economic Resources)

Must possess a current State of Florida Professional Engineer license by examination under the structural discipline OR applicants who were licensed as a Professional Engineer by examination under the civil/structural or civil/structural/sanitary categories on or before March 1, 1993. Five years of post-licensure experience as a structural engineer with responsibility for the design of building structures, practicing a minimum of two years in a High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) is required. Completion of an eight-hour HVHZ training course approved by the Board of Rules and Appeals may substitute for the required HVHZ experience.
