Job Summary

OCDE is accepting resumes for the position of Substitute Culinary Services Worker. This position is responsible to provide food services for OCDE schools and staff. Incumbents will perform routine food service, preparation and cleaning duties. Culinary Services Workers support OCDE's cafeteria/kitchen center, including setting up serving areas, performing routine food preparation, or serving food, preparing meals for delivery to schools, cashiering, washing dishes, and cleaning and sanitizing the center. The selected candidate will support OCDE's catering operation, including the organizing of requests/orders from online portal, the preparation, and the timely and accurate delivery/pickup of orders. This position is on-call, as needed, Monday through Friday, and based out of Costa Mesa.

Before the Department will finalize an offer of employment, the candidate selected will be required to show original documents which establish both the individual's identity and employment authorization.
