Job description

Infosys is seeking a Subsurface Consultant - As a Subsurface Consultant within Infosys Domain Consulting unit, you will work as a Subject Matter Expertise for its Oil & Gas customers. Typically, you will work with Customers in providing subsurface related services on data management, support users on workflows. You will also be responsible for working with internal stakeholders on competency and solution development.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require relocation and or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
• knowledge of Subsurface products like Petrel, Studio, Techlog, Openworks, EDM
• Knowledge of standards like OSDU, PPDM
• Experience in Subsurface Data Management and workflow support.

Preferred Qualification
• Experience of leading development team, working with client teams/SMEs and leading them through the project life cycle.
• Good interpersonal communications and analytical ability
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
