Description and Requirements

The Subsystem AI Engineer will be responsible for leveraging data generated by PC subsystems, especially battery and wireless, to improve the overall and individual user experience with our PC devices. This will involve collaboration with our suppliers and various system development teams to determine and expose the data needed and developing the ML/AI algorithms to efficiently use that data. Collaboration with other business groups such as Services and Quality will also be required. Examples:

• Leverage battery data to model how users collectively and individually use battery power, highlighting differences and similarities across brands, geos, and the portfolio.
• Develop method to improve Wi-Fi connectivity experience using on-board telemetry
• Evaluate qualification data vs field data to ensure efficient & accurate test processes
• Drive the AI Battery charge control PoC to implementation and integration with broader system architecture
