Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.73 - $28.41 / hour

Summary

Responsible for the daily operations and AR Management of the Medicare team. Knowledge of Medicare billing & compliance guidelines, collections, appeal guidelines and regulations are required. Candidate must have outstanding communication skills, above average analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsible for motivating and developing staff to create a positive work environment that maximizes productivity for both in-house and telecommuting staff while contributing to the achievement of departmental goals. Ensuring that timely, effective and compliant billing and follow-up occur while providing service excellence is critical. Goal setting is an important function in this role and the ability to develop, analyze data and prepare reports for trending is required.

Daily Responsibilities in this role include timekeeping, interviewing, hiring, monitoring work, managing government payer audits, conducting performance reviews, participating in department committees, task forces and/or activities as required to enhance the revenue cycle.

Must be a High School graduate or equivalent (GED), three years medical/financial healthcare or business office experience required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office applications are required and technical understanding of Revenue Cycle functions of EPIC, SSI Billing Systems, AudaPro and On Base are essential.
