Supervisor (Outpatient Psychiatry)

Description

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Supervisor for the Outpatient Psychiatry Department. You will oversee departmental and functional activities and monitor federal, state, and local regulatory issues for compliance. In addition, you will directly manage the CORE staff assigned to the front office as well as the financial counselors. Primary duties include:

• Monthly analysis of clinic utilization data
• Assist with budget process and monitoring
• Monitor time sheets
• Tracking of employee schedules and performance
• Participating in the hiring process and training of new staff
• Review DAR to ensure productivity
• Account resolution to optimize reimbursement
• Liaison between patient, billing office, physician office, and other hospital departments
• Other supervisory duties as assigned

Salary range: $30.56 - $60.82
