This position is in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), Consumer Response and Education (CRE) Division, Office of Financial Education (FinEd). FinEd works to inform and amplify the CFPB's policy work to consumer audiences, conduct and disseminate consumer research, and manage the CFPB's diverse suite of educational tools, resources, and content accessed by millions of consumers annually.
Responsibilities
As a Supervisory Program Manager, Financial Education, you will:
- Work with the Office for Financial Education leadership, as well as senior leaders from across the CRE division to plan, establish, direct, coordinate, and evaluate CFPB's financial education programs.
- Leverage product management expertise to lead the development and execution of the organization's product vision, strategy, and roadmap for its diverse set of digital educational tools, web content and consumer print publications program.
- Provide expert recommendations to executive leadership regarding the sunsetting, investing, and streamlining of the CFPB's inventory of consumer educational resources and tools based on user testing, web analytics, and CFPB policy priorities.
- Formulate, develop, implement, and manage needed policies, procedures, guidelines, and systems for conducting financial education functions effectively and efficiently in support of the Office's mission.
