Job Summary

Oversee and evaluate logistics, warehouses, transportation and customer service activities. support his direct supervisor in detecting opportunities for logistics and customer services. The experienced operations senior analyst will monitor safe and efficient operations. Enhance the operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and look for opportunities to expand systems. Will verify company's policies and applicable laws implementations. Responsible for supporting all the operations between Asia and Latin American (Central America, Caribbean, Mexico, Colombia & Argentina) by developing and supporting process implementation, planning and inventory management practices that ultimately lead to best-in-class supply chain operations decreases in inventory levels, stock-outs and working capital, all while increasing fill rates, inventory turns and material availability.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.
  • Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends.
  • Monitor 3PLs Expenses: Pingshan DC, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Puerto Rico.
  • Forecast requirements; consolidate and prepare a regional annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; propose and follow-up corrective actions
  • Standardize and ensures operations systems, policies and procedures implementation, related to product handling, storage requirements, receiving products, shipping, inventory management and equipment utilization, seeking for best practices, to optimize supply chain operations and performance.
  • May assist his direct supervisor on the supply chain efficiency & effectiveness by analyzing processes, workflows, human resources requirements and needed equipment recommending changes to ensure the organization is up to date.
  • Oversee safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
  • Work closely with Local Operation teams across the region to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
  • Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings.
  • Works closely with the inventory planning team, to ensure inventory levels of products are available to meet customer demands, maintaining solid data.
  • Works closely with the operation teams in the implementation of strategies to optimize warehouse/space costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Work with a cross-functional team (Sales, Logistics, Operations, Marketing, Finance & Accounting), to develop and continuously improve operations planning, inventory management and supply chain processes which impacts processes that drive Sales, efficient operations, forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Understand and identify improvement opportunities on customer service activities including order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales

Education and Experience Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in business or industrial engineering
  • Master's degree in business preferred
  • 5+ years logistics and operation environment, LATAM exp desired.


Required Skills
  • Proficient in standard business office software
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • SAP skills required (Inventory Management, advanced level preferred.
  • Microsoft office advanced (advanced Excel, Power Point)
  • Knowledge of how to run reports and ability to prepare PPT presentations for regional meetings.
  • Knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Materials Management processes, inventory management methodologies and supply chain optimization.
  • Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with internal process partners.
  • Able to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
