Support Engineer III

Our high profile client in the Robotic Manufacturing domain is seeking a Support Engineer for an 11-month night shift contract assignment onsite in North Reading, MA. As a Support Engineer on the manufacturing test and controls team, you will be responsible for triage, new development, and continuous improvement in support of the deployed test systems. The ideal candidate will be able to see a problem, establish what's the problem, diagnose the program, and fix the problem to align well with this team.

Pay Range: $36/HR on Experis W2

What's the Job?

• This position will primarily focus on continuous improvement, root cause investigation, & support for manufacturing test systems.
• Work closely with engineering, production, test engineers, and external vendors to deliver and support the highest quality products with the lowest cost.
• 100% onsite role to review the robots and how they interact with the software
• Responsible for general support to ensure full functionality on computers and robots
• Install new applications as needed

What's Needed?

• Looking for a general coder with IT troubleshooting experience and SQL. Also, will be working between the computers and robots in the fulfillment center.
• General coding, Python preferred
• 1+ year of SQL experience
• Intermediate IT experience
• 4 year degree in engineering or 2 year technical degree with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Solid working knowledge of basic electrical equipment, including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
