Surgery Scheduling Specialist
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Surgery Scheduling Specialist
Work location: 3060 Communications Parkway - Suite 100 Plano, TX 75093
Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday, (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Here's What You Need
• High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
• Two years or related experience in a healthcare environment (Neurosurgery) (PREFERRED)
• EPIC experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
What You Will Do
• Schedule all inpatient and outpatient surgery and medical procedures, tests and studies ordered by the physician
• Conduct physician pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care
• Ensure all required tests needed prior to surgery are done
• Coordinate and ensure necessary equipment is ordered, room availability/scheduled, pre-surgery medication, etc., is arranged prior to scheduled procedure
• Schedule any necessary follow-up appointments, communicates and answers patients' questions regarding surgery preparation instructions, arrival/departure instructions relative to procedure
