Beloit Memorial Hospital is looking to add a Surgical First Assist to our Surgery team! The Surgical First Assist will assist in surgery by providing exposure, traction and other technical functions under the direct supervision of the surgeon. This individual will ensure all required supplies, equipment and instruments are available for assigned procedures. The Surgical First Assist will participate in room set-up, pre-procedure preparation, intra Operative positioning, prepping, draping and room turnover. Required:

• Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technician program or life experience
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical First Assist program or comparable program training
• Surgical Assistant Certification completed within 2 years of hire
• BLS

Preferred:

• Prior surgical assistant experience
