Surgical Technologist Clinic Lead - Oral Surgery - Inverness

Position Description:
Work Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday
Work Location: Oral Surgery Clinic, Inverness

Under supervision of the RN, to set up and handle sterile supplies and instruments for the surgeon. To anticipate surgeon's needs. To maintain an accurate count of sponges, sharps and instruments and ensure that all team members adhere to the principles of sterile technique. May be assigned to rotate and restock operating rooms and clean equipment. To guide other techs as well as complete all activities described below.

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED and one (1) year of dental assistant experience with training in surgical procedures and instrumentation and previous experience in oral surgery or dental surgery required.

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of employment.
