Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems Administrator for a contract opportunity in Littleton, CO.

This position is 100% onsite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Primary POC for initial stand up and maintenance of all program IT related items.
o Works directly with the program to define business requirements, design and develop software/hardware/infrastructure and implement the solutions
o Maintain security compliance for all IT assets across Linux, Windows and Network domains.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
o Must be a U.S. Citizen
o Must have CompTIA Security+ certification or Higher DoD 8572 qualified certificate
o U.S. Citizenship required for access to the work facility
o Experience with Operating Systems life cycle management and configuration management (i.e., Installation/Upgrades/Patching, System Imaging, Account Management, Print Services, integration with Domain Services, Hardware Modernization, Performance Monitoring, etc.)
o Experience using and administrating Microsoft Windows Servers Red Had Enterprise Linux
o Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (i.e., system hardening, log management, configuration management (i.e., Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, Shavlik, Blade Logic, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, etc.))
o Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot network issues
o Experience using VMWare or Hyper-V tools for virtualization
o Design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of Secure Communications LAN, WAN and voice systems
o Determine root causes of network issues and recommend strategies to prevent recurrences
o Knowledge of Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, etc.)
o Knowledge of container creation and management (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, etc.)

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
o Knowledge of restoration/storage services (i.e., NetApp/EMC hardware, software, tape management, disaster recovery practices)
o Knowledge of switching and routing protocols like spanning-tree, OSPF, and BGP
o Knowledge of Contractor Off the Shelf (COTS) software installations and support
o Knowledge of patching, Firmware, and OS upgrades
o Knowledge of SAN environments with multiple OS's (Linux, Unix, and Windows)
o Knowledge of Linux authentication with Active Directory
o Knowledge of OpenStack, Openshift, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
o Knowledge of restoration/storage services (i.e., NetApp/EMC hardware, software, tape management, disaster recovery practices)
o Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) for 802.1X with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
o Knowledge of DNS-DHCP-IPAM (DDI) with Infoblox and Active Directory
o Experience with network management platforms like SolarWinds

Accredited HSD/GED
