A client in Huntsville, AL is seeking a System Safety Engineering to review and assess requirements provided by the customer in the aeronautics industry. There is continuous reiteration and modification to the product, and this engineer must assess against FMEA CIL and fault trees. This person will provide hands on project support in the way of developing Hazard Analyses from the ground up and maintaining analysis previously performed as the existing product is used with different scope and requires reassessment. This requires daily meetings with the government and prime customer.

7+ years of system safety experience
Experience specific to aeronautics
Highly proficient in FMEA CIL and fault tree analysis
Understanding of how to interpret requirement sets

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Prior rocket engineer experience (liquid hydro/liquid oxygen mix)
CAFTA
