Job description

Infosys is seeking a System V&V Principal Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Minneapolis, MN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience in testing.
5+ years of experience working in System Verification for a system with hardware and software sub-systems
3+ years of experience in automating system tests using Python
Experience with test automation for a system involving software mobile applications, web application and hardware interactions.
Experienced in developing and executes system-level test plans, protocols, and reports.
Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing test process improvements
Experience with System and Software Configuration Management
Experience with requirements reviews and management
Experience with defect tracking and change management using tools such as Azure Devops
Experience with Git or other modern version control systems.
Experience with Azure Devops or other similar software ALM tools

Preferred Qualifications:
Teamworking approach, Problem-solving attitude and ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
Technical leadership and mentoring to other test engineers.
Experience working with cross-functional and/or cross-sites teams in an agile environment
Ability to collaborate and maintain excellent working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and communication skills
Experience with medical device product design and regulatory processes is preferred

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
